Michelle Fiordaliso

A natural born innovator I work to create a better understanding of ourselves and the world whether it’s through my own expressions of art and writing or through the coaching work I do with people, companies and brands. I am even credited for coining a word

I earned a Bachelor in Science and a Masters in Clinical Social Work and Psychotherapy, from New York University. I have over 20 years experience working with individuals, groups, institutions and corporations including Restaurant Associates, Saint Vincent’s Hospital, Participant Media, Ovation and Mondelēz. I am currently the in-house Executive Coach at FastPay, a fintech company in West Hollywood. My work has ranged from streamlining grant writing processes, to coaching high-level executives, to brand identity, to operational management. I thrive in challenging and transitional environments. For example, I achieved successful results restoring morale with Restaurant Associate employees who had worked in the World Trade Center in the wake of 9/11 and I was the clinical director of the first women's AIDS clinic in The United States at the peak of the AIDS pandemic in 1994.

I am the co-author of the self-help book Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Ex*  (Sourcebooks, 2009) and my non-fiction writing has appeared in numerous publications including, The Hollywood Reporter,  Self, and The Huffington Post. I have interviewed celebrities, actors, artists and entrepreneurs including Jack Black, Jason Segal, James Braly, Laurie David and Danny Meyer. I have also appeared as an expert in several media outlets including Today, Tyra and Oprah and Friends with Gayle King. I have been published twice in The New York Times Modern Love Column. My fiction has appeared in The East Hampton Star.  I've been recognized with awards for my writing and my art has been exhibited in both solo and group shows. I live in Los Angeles with my awesome son, Joe and our neurotic dog, Percy.
